How to Find the Ares Music on Your Computer once it’s downloaded

If you have not changed the default download directory, Ares automatically stores you downloads in C:/Program Files/Ares/My Shared Folder. You can also locate the stored location by right-clicking on the song you want to transfer in your Ares library and selecting “Open File Location” from the options menu. Open up you stored Ares music through either method to transfer it to your iPod or MP3 player.

How to Load Ares Music onto Your iPod or MP3 Player

Once you’ve opened up the location where your Ares music is stored, open up the program which runs your music player (iTunes for the iPod.) Loading your Ares music onto your music player is now as simple as dragging the files from the open Ares window and dropping them onto the open music player program.

If you’re using iTunes and have not changed the default settings, the sync will start automatically as soon as you have your iPod plugged in. Alternately, you can drag the files out of Ares and drop them directly onto your music player device icon to load them to the player.

What to Do if the Ares Music Export Isn’t Working

If for some reason your export doesn’t work, the first thing you should check is whether the file format of your Ares music is compatible with your player.
