Asian classical music? Yes! At Asian Classical MP3. There is such a thing. And you can find out all about here. The intrigue factor was enough to get us to head over there. The music has all been taken from tape recordings, believe it or not. Truly an experience to listen to some of this stuff. We like!

videos by the looks of things. Not sure what else this site is supposed
to be. Never heard any of the songs before. No downloads that we could
find.

Healing Piano has an array of solo piano music. Although anybody can download the music, it’s intended for distressed people who may be grieving or else just very sad. Funeral music? Could be.

Free Midi is the place to download
midi files for free. Lots of classic here, including TV, videogame and
movie themes. Kind of hard to navigate.

Music from concerts here. Not in MP3 format. In Shorten format, which you then need to convert to WAV and burn to CD. You can find all the info about how to do this one the website. Lots of live music, which we like. Some hip stuff from bands like The Grateful Dead. Site looks a bit dated now.

In 2003, these guys did an experiment to make a weird and wonderful MP3 available every day of the year. All archived in its glory here.
