Websites offering music reviews

There are countless music websites out there for downloading songs, finding the latest music news and, of course, reading reviews. Websites for music reviews have become incredibly popular, with music fans, gurus and wannabe alike keen to share with the world their music reviews.

When it comes to music-review websites, it's difficult to justify spending too much time reading them because of the ease with which you can listen to and preview music yourself. However, it is always cool to read other people's opinions.

This collection of music-review websites features a variety of genres and articles written by various authors, some with expert knowledge, others without. Some of these music-review websites also feature free music downloads and streaming audio. Take a look through these websites with music reviews and let us know what you think.

Better Propaganda is a very cool website that reviews indie music. Everything is easy to read and there are also lots of interviews up there. Most bands have MP3s for free download so you can check out the stuff you are reading about. The authors of the reviews know their stuff and they don’t suffer bad music lightly.

Lots of reviews at C0nsensus. If you have a track you want reviewed, you can send it in to these guys. Tracks are rated out of 10. You’ll find all sorts here. Songs come with download links for free downloads as well. The reviews are very honest too. Most reviews don’t score more than 6 out of 10.

Giga Tracks is now a blog. The authors choose songs they like and then offer them up as free downloads.
