Muzik Voice is another website devoted to helping out unsigned bands. A good resource of free music promotion with a ton of band reviews.

New tracks reviewed across a range of genres at Killer Crescendo. Also has links to MP3s for free downloads.

Splendid Ezine is another site with reviews of new music. This is more of an E-zine than anything. Definitely worth a look.

As the name suggests, 75 Or Less reviews music in 75 words or less. An interesting concept and rather a fun website. The focus is on indie music, with some other hip hop and electronica bits.

Better Propaganda is a very cool website that reviews indie music. Everything is easy to read and there are also lots of interviews up there. Most bands have MP3s for free download so you can check out the stuff you are reading about. The authors of the reviews know their stuff and they don’t suffer bad music lightly.

Pitch Fork Media is an OK website with a number of reviews and not many downloads. Worth a look but won’t appeal to everyone. Tell us your thoughts on this website.

No downloads available at Gods of Music, but there are lots of reviews with links to band websites where you can then find MP3s.

Garage Band is a decent reviews website. New artists get reviewed by random people. You can review music and win prizes. Standard range of genres and tracks to listen to. There is also a section where you can buy music, although this is from an external website.

Lots of reviews at C0nsensus. If you have a track you want reviewed, you can send it in to these guys. Tracks are rated out of 10. You’ll find all sorts here. Songs come with download links for free downloads as well. The reviews are very honest too. Most reviews don’t score more than 6 out of 10.

Giga Tracks is now a blog. The authors choose songs they like and then offer them up as free downloads. You won’t be able to download the top 100, but because the songs are chosen by the authors, there is some great stuff for free download along with the reviews. The blog also comes with general music articles and random reviews.
