Recently I broke my drug virginity and decided to try smoking Salvia. Admittedly I wasn’t quite prepared for just how weird I would feel, but I gave it a shot anyway.
Fifteen seconds in I was distracted by the pulsing feeling growing inside my body which started in my thighs and moved to the rest of my body. Then a strange thing happened: seemed to start to slide out of my own body and I was able to observe it from a distance. This is weird stuff.
The high induced by smoking Salvia lasted, by my calculation, around two minutes, with the after effects – including talking absolute rubbish – took five minutes altogether. At the end of the experience I felt exactly as I did when I started smoking Salvia. No headache, no sickness, no hangover, nothing at all.
The highs experienced by users of LSD and magic mushrooms are, apparently, on a comparable level but they allegedly last so much longer. It is only this, in my opinion, that keeps Salvia in the ‘legal in most States’ category.
Did I get an important mental insight while I was tripping from smoking Salvia? No, to be honest. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t an incredibly intense – and very interesting – experience.
Often times, the well known name brand is not the best product. Sometimes it’s not even the ballpark. Such is the case with the Ares P2P filesharing software. Ares Galaxy was the origional version, first distributed back in 2002. It soon became popular and spawned many imitators, some good, some bad. Over the years Ares Galaxy became established as the best, and no real contenders came close. But things change fast in the digital world. Several newer, more modern versions of Ares have sprung up in the past few years with advanced features, and better customer support (Ares Galaxy has no customer support). Ares Vista, Ares Ultra, and Ares Ultimate are the best of the modern versions. Meanwhile, the old standby Ares Galaxy has remained the same. Some of the new versions to stay away from are Ares Gold and Ares Destiny, both of which bundle Ares with adware. One thing they all have in common is that users of the different versions, including Ares Galaxy, all work on the same network, so users looking to download music have access to the millions of songs that are shared between users.
Apple has been pushing developers to program apps to fill up its app store for some time. The apps going into the app store are distributed evenly – 50-50 – between those destined for the iPhone and those for the Mac computer.
Why is Apple so interested in getting these developers’ wares into the app store? Money, simple.
Whilst the app store will no doubt form an excellent resource for iPhone and Mac users – a resource which will make Apple’s gadgets and computers even more valuable – it is the direct fees that Apple is set to reap that will be most exciting for it. Reports suggest that Apple will rake in 30% of any fees paid to developers when their apps are sold through the app store.
A recent survey, then, of app developers by an analyst at Piper Jaffray, holds very disappointing news. The survey found that 71% of planned apps were going to be free. The average price of those that were to be charged for was only $2.29. An Apple keynote speech suggested that the average cost would be nearer $10; this could be a big shock for the big A, and a shock which could see it switch marketing models pretty quickly.
Ares is the popular P2P filesharing software. There doesn’t seem to be much confusion about the spelling for those from the United States or Great Britain. But visitors from other contries, especially Latin America, will often search for Aries music download, or sometimes download Aires when looking for the software. Areas is the third most common misspelling, often coming from countries with more greek influence in their language (Greece, Turkey, Romainia). Arez is often used by Canadians, and those whose native language is French. Then there are the ones we haven’t really been able to figure out what language the visitor tend to speak, like Aris, and my favorite, Aeres music download. Sometimes people will misstype and misspell, like yesterday someone typed in Aeries download. One that makes no sense at all is Aers. It doesn’t much matter, they pretty much all end up at www.officialares.com
The movie, “The Secret” brought the concept of the law of attraction to the mainstream population.
The Law of Attraction is based upon some fundamental laws that govern the universe in which we live; these laws mean that our thoughts have great power. The Law of Attraction tells us that with the power of the mind, anything is possible.
The fundamental law of the Universe tells us that we all have within us an innate power – and the knowledge necessary to use that power – that enables to us develop and form the world around us. In the young this is knowledge is at the forefront of our young minds. As we get older this knowledge is pushed into the depths of our conscious by negative, pessimistic thoughts emitted by negative, pessimistic relatives and friends. The Law of Attraction realizes that this power and knowledge is buried deep within our minds and souls – some people have buried it deeper than others in an attempt to ‘fit it’ with society’s ideals – and helps us to coax it out.
Once we have the basic concepts of the Law of Attraction within our grasp we can begin to move mountains. Almost literally. A brief précis like this cannot hope to detail the implications of the Law, but hopefully it will have given some indication of the power available to you.
Downloading iPhone games can be a very rewarding experience: some of the newer ?releases are simply stunning. Some of them come with simply stunning prices, too. ?Never fear! A little research might mean either substantial savings or even, gasp!, free ?iPhone games.?
So at the top end of the iPhone games feeding chain are the premium titles that you’re ?going to shelling out an arm and a leg. It’s unlikely that you’ll get these for much ?cheaper (unless you take the sneaky route: see later) so get your credit card out.?
Next in the iPhone games list are those membership sites which, for an upfront or a ?monthly fee, will let you download unlimited numbers of games from their ?collections. The value of the selections available depends greatly on the site in ?question (and to some extent the price you’re willing to pay).?
Next, and near the bottom or our list are those iPhone games that are available for ?free, online and through the browser. Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with this ?approach but it often leads to simple throwaway iPhone games that are unlikely to ?hold your attention for very long.?
The sneaky route: download via torrents, P2P or warez. But we don’t advise this due ?to the risk of viruses and incarceration for enthusiastic downloaders. Still, if it’s your ?bag then go for it.?
The food in Thailand is famous and is amongst the most varies and delicious anywhere in the world. The restaurants in Phuket are no exception and if you’re traveling here it’s best to prepare your lucky taste buds for a treat like no other. There are so many delicacies and specialties on offer that the choice of restaurants in Phuket can soon become a little overwhelming. Stand back, take a deep breath, and make a choice. You can’t go wrong.
The variety of dishes offered in restaurants in Phuket is perhaps its biggest draw. Popular with the locals and adventurous visitors alike the dish (normally eaten for breakfast) called Khanon Jeen. Khanon is a Thai curry dish that is served with rice noodles.
Much of the fun of the Restaurants in Phuket is in not knowing what will come next. Drifting around the numerous food outfits might see you eating some Khanon Jeen outside on a street stall in the morning, while you may be eating in a fancy resort restaurant for lunch followed by a session jostling with locals in a food hall. Whatever you choose there is always fabulous food at great prices in the restaurants in Phuket.
Ares is becoming more and more popular as a way to share music with friends and others across the Internet. Ares Destiny is a new version that also trumpets a free download.
Ares Destiny almost offers a product that we could recommend. For a start off it is free, which is great. Woohoo! The download quickly and quietly jumps on to your system and allows you to start downloading music files straight away. Download speeds are impressive and the software works okay, though not brilliantly.
Ares Destiny’s major failing though is in packaging the rather heinous Dealio ad serving software in with the free Ares download. This ad server – that is another name for spyware or malware, by the way – infiltrates your system without you really knowing. And once you’ve got it on there is very little you can do to get the little blighter off. If you find a way then please tell us!
In summary Ares Destiny is a nice piece of software marred only by the fact it is packaged it with some very dubious software. Steer well clear!
The use of hallucinogenics has been recognized for thousands of years as being helpful to those seeking to follow the path of a spiritual journey. Quite why the hallucinogenic is seen as helpful is not clear, though I imagine the feeling of disembodiment can feel slightly outer-worldly and as such may put those experiencing the Salvia ‘trip’, seemingly, on the same level of the spirits and gods. Who knows?
Anyway, no matter what the reasoning behind their use, the fact remains that hallucinogenics like Salvia – both legal and illegal – have been popular for thousands of years.
Salvia Divinorum falls into the legal category (at least it does in most countries and US States) and is freely available over the Internet. Those who buy salvia report a variety of experiences. Some experience leaving their bodies and traveling in the astral world, while others report traveling back in time or to a point in the future.
Apple has been making moves to increase its iPhone games net. Negotiations in Canada, Italy and 10 other countries mean that Apple’s reach before the launch of the second generation iPhone games – due soon – is getting all that much bigger. Apple’s campaign at the moment seems driven towards this imminent release (though the date is currently unknown) and they have even stopped supplying handsets from their online shops.
Apple’s motivation behind the decision to stop supplies is fairly transparent: stopping the supply will increase the demand up until the point when the new iPhone games is released; there will also be no need to recall outdated stocks from shops when the release is announced. The clever boys and girls have done it again.
People are reportedly holding off the purchase of the iPhone games until the newer model hits the shops, so this shortage isn’t going turn fans away in favor of the Palm or similar.
