2 schools lipdub it out on YouTube
“Try and beat that Shorecrest!” – says the tail end of a video in which one Washington high school, Shorewood, tries to out-lipdub another, Shorewood.
And, “What makes this rivalry more special is the video teachers for each school,” says King5.com. “Shorecrest’s Trent Mitchell and Shorewood’s Marty Ballew are childhood friends.”
For now, maybe. But —-
Many moons ago video-sharing site Vimeo scored with a video of employees lip-syncing to Harvey Danger’s Flagpole Sitta.
Now, however, Capitol Records reckons Vimeo “induces and encourages its users to upload … audiovisual works” which it then “disseminates virally throughout the Internet”.
