So what’s Numero Uno in the T10?

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It “blurs the line between big-screen entertainment and gameplay experience like practically no other game before it,” says the story, going on:

“Naughty Dog has served up a deuce with its latest release. In Nathan Drake, it’s given players the next big name in adventure games for a long time to come and in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, it’s provided the best video game for the PS3 to date as well as our pick for the top title of 2009. Come on in, Lara Croft, your time is up.”

Number 2 is Street Fighter IV and of it, “in the end, the only thing needed to point out that Capcom’s newest fighter is an essential addition to the library of any gamer — be they casual or hard-core — is the following statement of truth: “It’s Street Fighter IV and it’s awesome!”

At Number 3 is Batman: Arkham Asylum. “Until the arrival of Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Dark Knight had a pretty poor track record when it came to appearing in video games,” says the Telegraph, going on:

“This is because in the past developers seemed oblivious to the possibility that there was anything more to Bob Kane’s creation than black leather and the ability to beat people up. The reason RockSteady Games’ release was one of this year’s best video games, is because it turns every facet of Batman’s character into a gameplay asset.”

Unsurprisingly, Nathan Drake of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is the Number One Hero; Street Fighter IV is the most time-stealing; top downloadable is Flipnote Studio (not really a game, but … ); top video games for all ages is The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks ; and the top sports video game is FIFA 10.
