Sony releases Armored for free
p2pnet news view Movies | Games:- Sony has, not to put too fine a point on it, dropped a bollock.
Armored was recently released in theaters but it’ll be “months before the movie comes to DVD and Blu-ray”, GameRant points out.
BUUUT — If you have a Playstation 3, “you might have noticed that for 5 hours the movie suddenly appeared there, completely available for download – and free to boot.”
There are, of course, other options.
Be that as it may, and notwistanding, Sony “accidentally distributed a film that is still playing in US cinemas via its PlayStation Network,” says DigitalSpy.
It was “mistakenly uploaded to the storefront and issued for free,” says the story, adding:
“It is not known how many copies were downloaded …”
What of the flick?
“Time better served by watching snow fall out your window,” says MovieTimes.
(Cheers, catflap)
