Symantec uses sex + kids as marketing tool

Even better, some of my friends had brothers who had DIRTY PITCHER BOOKS!
As far as I now, it didn’t do me any harm.
Now security company Symantec has taken up the PR scam popularised by the entertainment cartels, to wit:
Sex is a great marketing tool — especially when you mix kids into it!
The company has “announced the results of data collected from its OnlineFamily.Norton, a free service for kids and their parents to help safeguard them against some of the racier sides of the Internet,” says the Vancouver Sun.
Oh, really?
“Sex was No. 4 on the list overall, followed by porn but edged out by the top three search terms for kids, which were YouTube, Google and Facebook,” says the story, adding:
“The girls had marginally higher brow interests, with their No. 4 choice Taylor Swift compared to boys, who simply settled on sex. For girls, that term was No. 5 on the list.”
Don’t let the Symantec BS ‘research’ scare you, mums and dads: the kids are alright.
