Warner Music virtual meeting
p2pnet news view | P2P | Music:- Warner Music has definitely entered the digital 21st century.
Next month it’ll be holding its first virtual stockholders meeting online.
That’s a virtual meeting, of course, not zombie stockholders.
“It is my pleasure to invite you to attend our 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. EST,” says WMG boss Edgar ‘Bright Line‘ Bronfman jr proudly in an SEC filing, going on:
“We are very pleased that this year’s annual meeting will be our first completely virtual meeting of stockholders, which will be conducted via live webcast. You will be able to attend the 2009 Annual Meeting, online, vote your shares electronically and submit your questions during the meeting by visiting .”
Also in the filing, “details about WMG CEO Edgar Bronfman and other execs salaries for the last few years, and compensation going ahead,” says paidContent, adding:
“The general trend: nevermind the implosion of the music industry, we’ll keep getting our compensation, though with some relatively minor decreases. ”
So how much did Edgar pull down?
Below is a clip from a chart published by paidContent. Click here to go to the complete filing.
It’s tough at the top, eh?
Significantly, or not, there’s no mention of Warner Choruss, the ‘licensing’ scheme the company has been attempting to thrust upon American universitries — how many have signed up, traffic figures, revenue projections, and so on.
No need to stay tuned.
