All the best, everyone …
It’s Christmas and whether or not it’s just another sales and marketing excuse, it’s still the time of the year when most people look back and say Thanks.
And that goes for me.
A p2pnet reader in the US has for almost two years been sending more than half the money I needed to keep p2pnet online. But what’s euphemistically called the ‘economic crisis’ forced him to pull his funding. Grazie, my friend. I’m more grateful than I can say for all your help. Without you, p2pnet would’ve gone down long ago.
RocketTorrents is experiencing the same financial constraints and for the same reason is having to stop advertising. Its support was invaluable, making up most of the difference. AntiSpyware will also be leaving – same again. And to the remaining p2pnet supporters — TekSavvy, Frostwire and Electronic box — gracias, guys.
And a huge domo arigato gozaimasu to the people who allow me to re-publish their work, or who contribute original material either as authors or through Reader’s Writes. You’re the reason p2pnet exists in the first place, and how it keeps going.
So, folks, thanks. Really.
2010 will be interesting and full of changes, but as one door closes, another opens.
And that’s what it’s all about.
Look after yourselves and each other, and Liz, Emma and I wish you everything you wish for yourselves.
Have a good holiday and a fulfilling new year … ![]()
